July 2010 FSR is transforming its former aid and education programs in Afghanistan and the SF Bay Area into applied transnational research initiatives. We are fostering and promoting these new public interest research initiatives in collaboration with the UC Berkeley Center for South Asia Studies, the UC Berkeley Center for Middle Eastern Studies, and the new UC Berkeley Working Group on Afghanistan.
