Barbara's extensive career includes positions as a Program Specialist and Regional Administrator of the Women’s Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor; a program developer for the national War on Poverty for the unemployed, disadvantaged, and welfare recipients; and an Asia and Middle East Peace Corps volunteer.
Ms. Sanford has generously allowed us to share some of her historical photos taken in pre-war Afghanistan in 1965.
