FSR opens new Widows Research and Support Center in Kabul

Kabul: On June 02, 2006, FSR held the opening ceremony for our new Widows Research and Support Center at Taimany, Fifth Street, behind Shamshad Wedding Hall. Narigs Aini is is the Center’s new Director; Heba Tarzi serves as the Associate Director; and Fatima Nerow, an FSR Advisory Board member in Fremont, CA, is the Center's new Program Manager. FSR's staff and volunteers at the Widows Research and Support Center will coordinate and administer our Grants for Self-Reliance Program, Zuhra’s Literacy Classes, and our Kabul-based research.
