Launched October 2004 - English Tea Time is an acculturation program that introduces women of various ethnicities to a broad array of customs and cultures.

Small groups of multicultural women meet once a month, in an American home, to drink tea (and coffee), eat snacks, practice speaking English, and discuss life in America and life abroad.
We provide a safe environment for first generation American immigrant women to practice their English, meet American women, visit an American home, and become familiar with American social and cultural norms.

This is also an opportunity for American women to become familiar with the social and cultural traditions of women from other countries who have immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area.
